Happy New Year!

I just finished washing the dishes and thought of jotting down some parting words LOL before 2008 ends. We had a great dinner with some friends. As always, I enjoy having friends over during Christmas and New Year's eve dinner. It makes the celebration more meaningful. And your effort of preparing so much food becomes even more rewarding. And the food even tastes better. I was so full tonight with the usual kilawin, liempo, broiled tilapia, spaghetti (the kids love my spag so much *blush*), ham, fruits and mango float. We still have enough for tomorrow as we go to Pastor Raul's first cousin in Cavite for some fellowship. It's another tradition of not staying at home during Christmas day and New Year's Day. We would rather bring good cheers to friends and family during these special days rather than sleep (or watch TV/movie).

Anyway, it's 11:30. We have to go up to the roof deck to watch the fireworks of our neighbors and even from distant lands (as long as their fireworks reach our sight).

Happy New year everyone! God bless our land!
